Adult Therapy is a NEW curated wine retail shopinside of Glass of Lifestained-glass studio which is located in the Historic Uptown neighborhood of St. Peterburg in Florida across from Round Lake.
Adult Therapy offers retail wine therapy and sommelier services to help alleviate the stress of shopping for wine and creative workshops for adults to relax and enjoy - with or without wine.
Jodi Chemes opened Glass of Life in 2024 to teach stained-glass classes and work on pieces she creates and donates to fundraise for animal rescues. In 2025, she invited her longtime friend, Jessica Arkwright, a sommelier and cheese artist, to open and curate a wine shop within her stained-glass studio - "if we can make it happen, let's do it" became our goal. A few months and a couple of licenses later - voila - Adult Therapy at Glass of Life was officially open on March 27th, 2025!
Note: Raymond Cotteret is not an owner of Adult Therapy at Glass of Life. He has been retired since 2018 and has been mentoring and teaching Jessica how to craft beautiful boards ever since. He and Jessica met when they worked together at Locale Market and quickly became good friends - being that she was the Wine Director and he was their Cheesemonger, it was a quick friendship over food and wine. Raymond will always be our mentor on cheese and food pairings, and on deciphering wine labels. He is usually at our shop during the golden hours of the evening and is very much a part of our Adult Therapy and Glass of Life family. :)
YOUR UPTOWN NEIGHBORHOOD CURATED WINE & PICNIC PROVISIONS SHOP
Our Wine programfocuses on "min-vins" - clean, balanced, food-friendly, minimal-intervention table wines that average $15 - 35/bottle, and a selection of very special, small-production wines featuring cru regions, varietals and blends made by tenacious winemakers from around the world.
As we stock our shelves and cooler in April, we plan to add a small selection of locally made cheese & charcuterie picnics, cheese dips, and picnic accoutrements available from our cooler, and we'll offer chocolate and salty & sweet treats for grab & go food offerings. In addition to offering single-serve to large-format bottles of wine, we offer non-alcoholic caffeinated and non-caffeinated beverages for when you're not in the mood for wine.
We love to share our new discoveries with our customers as we fill our shelves and coolers!
CHECK OUT OUR NEW CREATIVE WORKSHOPS FOR ADULTS
Adult Therapy is also adding a range of Creative Workshops for Adults, like our Color & Chill Workshop [shown below], at Glass of Life. Glass of Life currently offers stained-glass classes of all levels and studio time to work on your projects, and we will be expanding our workshop offerings to include other creative mediums like coloring, painting, clay, cheeseboards, wine pairing, floral artistry, succulent gardening, and other fun workshops throughout the day, week, and month.
INDULGE IN OUR POP-UP PICNICS & EVENTS
We are fortunate to be located across the street from beautiful Round Lake, next door to Flatbread & Butter and a couple doors down from Bier Boutique - which makes your options for creating an impromptu picnic aplenty for every palate. Beginning in May, we will begin launching our Picnic Pop-Up rental services and our Pop-Up Events, which will be catered interactive events like our Murder Mystery Pop-Up: The Lady of Round Lake.
