Chocolate & Cheese Pairing Workshop | SATURDAY, MAY 3RD @ 4PM
Chocolatier Maggie Prittie has been living in Belize the past three months working her first cocoa harvest, and she is flying through St. Petersburg to collaborate with us for two special pairing events. Friday night is hosted by Two Chefs & One Somm at their commercial kitchen in the Tyrone area, and Saturday afternoon we're hosting Maggie at Adult Therapy at Glass of Life near downtown St. Pete. Both events will be the same format and feature the same chocolates and cheeses. Add a Wine Flight for +$25 {four 3.5oz wines} and we'll include four wine pairings to enjoy with your Chocolates & Cheeses.
Maggie will explain how cocoa is grown, harvested, and then made into cocoa butter - which you'll get to taste - to make chocolate treats. Maggie roasts and produces single-origin bean-to-bar chocolates, and we've paired four cheeses with the four chocolates she's chosen. We'll explain how to taste chocolate, how to taste cheese, and how to taste wine - and we'll show you how to use the Pairing Scale to identify +/+ pairings.
**Friday Event Only: Add a Tapas Flight and we'll include a board of 4 - 5 cold & hot tapas utilizing the cheeses we're featuring. +$25
